Community Garden Program Series

When: Programs are held the 3rd Thursday of each month from March—October. 6:30—8:30 PM.

Cost: The workshops are open to the public at no charge, no reservations needed.

Delaware Energy Awareness Series

When: Every other Sunday starting April 22 - May 20, 2p - 4:30p

Where: Ohio Wesleyan University and Barley Hopsters

Admission: Free, donations accepted

  • May 6: "All of the Above" - Exploring the options for Alternative Energy - Professor Gordon Aubrecht will speak on the pros and cons of each energy approach; Bayley Room, Beeghly Library, Ohio Wesleyan Campus
  • May 20: Economic Impact - What are the implications of various energy approaches to jobs, home values, government programs in the face of a wide variety of energy choices. How much does it really cost? Professor Michael Betz will speak on his study of the impact of natural extraction, Molly Shea of Beehive Collective will share the art project "The True Cost of Coal," and we'll screen the movie "The Last Mountain".
