Partnerships:
Sustainable Delaware partners with The
City of Delaware, Ohio
Wesleyan University, the League of Women Voters, Co-Sustainability
Ohio, and many other groups.
Dr. Laurel Anderson, Ph.D., Chair of the Ohio Wesleyan University
Sustainability Task Force, "I
want to express my support for the mission and activities of
Sustainable Delaware, in their efforts to improve the environmental
sustainability of our city. I see many ways in which the campus
can partner with the broader Delaware community on such projects
as raising awareness of environmental issues, improving recycling
and energy efficiency, enhancing walking and biking opportunities,
and supporting local agriculture and urban forests. These partnerships
represent great educational experiences for OWU students and
opportunities for OWU faculty and staff to share expertise and
learn from Delaware citizens."
Delaware
City Councilman, Andrew Brush, liaison to Sustainable Delaware,
"I support the efforts of Sustainable
Delaware, and I am encouraged by the enthusiasm and vigor of
the group. I look forward to continued partnership between the
City government and Sustainable Delaware, and I look forward
to seeing what Sustainable Delaware does in the future and where
this organization is going. I'm sure we can expect to see some
great things."
